(PL) Dekada Solidarności, czy solidarności? Centrum Historii Zajezdnia nie bez przyczyny znajduje się w byłej Zajezdni nr 7. To tutaj w sierpniu 1980 roku rozpoczął się wrocławski strajk solidarnościowy z Wybrzeżem i to tutaj rodziła się wrocławska „Solidarność”. W trakcie kolejnego spotkania z serii Meetings with history będziemy dyskutować o Tomaszu Surowcu, perspektywie historycznej i solidarności prze małe i wielkie „S”. Już 11 marca o godz. 17:15!

Meetings with History w roku akademickim 2024/2025 to cykl 7. spotkań spotkań w języku angielskim w trakcie których goście poznają historię Wrocławia w oparciu o wystawę „Wrocław 1945-2016” oraz wystawę czasową „Freedom Climbers – Wrocławianie w Górach Wysokich”. Spotkania skierowane są do obcokrajowców oraz Polaków, którzy chcą poćwiczyć swoje umiejętności językowe. Każde spotkanie dotyczy jednej z części wystawy lub wystawy czasowej i składa się z ok. 30 minutowego oprowadzania oraz aktywności, która pogłębia zdobytą wiedzę, utrwala ją oraz prowokuje do dyskusji. Dzięki wykorzystaniu różnych form prezentacji narracji historycznej – wystawa scenograficzna, oprowadzanie, warsztat lub gra i animacja prowadzącego – oferujemy uczestnikom wielostronne doświadczenie edukacyjne i społeczne.

(ENG) A decade of Solidarity, or solidarity? The Zajezdnia History Center is located in the former Depot No. 7 for a reason. It was here in August 1980 that the Wroclaw Solidarity strike with the Coast began and it was here that the Wroclaw “Solidarity” was born. During the next meeting of the Meetings with history series, we will discuss Tomasz Surowiec, historical hindsight and solidarity through small and big “S”. On March 11 at 17:15!

Meetings with history in the academic year 2024/2025 is a series of 7 meetings in English during which guests will learn about the history of Wroclaw based on the exhibition “Wroclaw 1945-2016” and the temporary exhibition “Freedom climbers. Wrocław citizens in the high mountains”. The meetings are aimed at foreigners and Poles who want to practice their language skills. Each meeting relates to one part of the exhibition or temporary exhibition and consists of an approximately 30-minute guided tour and an activity that deepens the acquired knowledge, consolidates it and provokes discussion. Through the use of various forms of historical narrative presentation – a scenic exhibition, a guided tour, a workshop or a game and animation by the presenter – we offer participants a multifaceted educational and social experience.
